Dwarf Zonal Pelargonium "Mary Spink", and the Australian Pelargonium Sale

| Dwarf Zonal Pelargonium "Mary Spink" |
With light
gold foliage and double salmon flower heads, the dwarf zonal pelargonium “Mary Spink” makes a stunning
plant. Pelargonium “Mary Spink” was introduced about 1992, and named after owner of
Swanland Nursery, a well known pelargonium nursery here in the UK.
Mary was also
the last President of the former British and European Geranium Society, now
merged with The British Pelargonium and Geranium Society to become ThePelargonium and Geranium Society.
I last wrote
about the South Australian Geranium and Pelargonium Society Inc Annual Show. At the Show each year they also hold a huge
sale of pelargoniums which is very popular with local gardeners. I had a wonderful three days helping to set
up the show and the sale and selling plants.
Here are just a few views of the sale.
