Swedish Angel - and Fibrex at Chelsea

Swedish Angel
Swedish Angel  is a petite and low growing Angel Pelargonium introduced through the Vernon Catalogue in 1988.  The flowers are purple edged and mottled in white.      I think I need to get this back in my collection.   It’s been missing for quite a while now.

Last week I went to Chelsea with my friend Marie.   Here are some photo’s of the Fibrex Gold winning stand.

Hula –Species derived pelargonium

The International Register of Pelargonioums

"Hula"

TheInternational Register of Pelargoniums describes "Hula" as a Species Derived type pelargonium.    Frances Hartsook created "Hula" in the USA around 1961 by crossing “Old Scarlet Unique” with “Josephine”.   The flowers are a single salmon pink with a dark blotch on the upper petals.  Grow "Hula" in a large pot outside in the summer and she will grow into a compact and shrubby plant and reward you by flowering almost continuously with masses of beautiful flowers.
